Here is this week's tip, number 2, Never ever pay any token amount for rental or for sale properties or advance into brokers account, *everytime* and *always* make the payment only in the owners account after verifying the name mentioned in the document and the property address are matching and insist on payment only into the names mentioned in the document, no other third person account. Recently came to know that one lady paid 15, 000 rupees to a broker account for rental property without verifying the owner name and she lost all this money because after the payment was done the broker stopped taking the phone calls and when checked his address it was outside Magarpatta and that was non existing address so don't fall prey to search brokers and always work with with local known maharera registered agents.
